Our Mission
Malawi Borehole Restoration Project
Over the years, many people and organisations have come to the country to build boreholes, a pump used to extract water from the ground. This is a wonderful initiative, but after a few years, many of these boreholes fall into disrepair. This leaves many men, women and children having to struggling to access water again.
The aim of our programme is to revive these boreholes, providing locals within the community an easy way to access water, without the need to build another close by.
How do we do this?
We have partnered with an amazing team in Malawi, who travel across the country to fix these boreholes. They need our help to continue their incredible work.
Currently, the cost to rehabilitate one borehole is £100 but any donation is helpful.

At H3O Aid, we believe water is life.
Without water, we could not survive. We are fortunate enough to have easy access to water at the touch of a button. However, billions are suffering from being forced to drink water that is unsafe and full of toxic materials. In fact, 1 in 3 people globally do not have access to clean water, but we are on a mission to change that.
With your help, we can provide vital funding to our partners in those areas which are struggling the most.
Approximately 4 million people do not have access to a clean water source. In many rural areas, women and children walk for miles to bring water home for their families. Many times, the water is untreated and may be infected with water borne diseases, like cholera, being prevalent in Malawi, which can be extremely dangerous. Approximately, 30000 people in Malawi die every year due to issues caused by dirty water.
At H3O, we are helping communities overcome these challenges. With your help, we can make a meaningful difference.
In our first year of fundraising, during only the month of Ramadhan, we successfully raised over £10000 which fixed 105 boreholes, mainly in the areas of Kasungu and Nkhata Bay.
